About

I’m Andrew and I’m a Psychology student at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Several years ago I came across a book entitled, “Salvation” by Dr. Earl Radmacher. That book changed my life. It was only at that point that I truly understood how gracious God truly was. Since then, I have become passionate about the Free Grace message and have rejoiced in its simplicity, clarity and graciousness. On this blog, I talk about Free Grace theology, but also I talk about other things - pretty much anything that I find interesting!

Andrew,

This is Chris Smith. I was on the team that helped the International Bible Society develop The Books of The Bible. We’re now working to produce some supporting resources to help people make good use of the new edition. We want to show how people can move from move from existing habits of Scripture engagement, which tend to be tied to chapters and verses, to new habits that we believe will help them get more out of the Bible in the new format.

As we develop these resources, we’re very interested in hearing from people who are already out there using The Books of The Bible. One way we’ve been able to find these people is that many of them are blogging about it. We’re reading what people are saying on their blogs and contacting some of them to ask about their experiences with the Bible in the new format.

Back in January you wrote on your blog that you had a copy of The Books of The Bible and that you were finding it very refreshing to read. I’d be eager to hear more about the experiences you’ve been having with the Scriptures using the new edition. If you’d be willing to correspond with me, I can tell you about some specific things I’d like to ask about. Please let me know. Thanks very much.

Chris Smith
